ABOUT SHAUN FORD
With now 38 years approaching 39 years in the Fire & Security Industry it’s given me a lot of experience over the years especially by working in every department within this sector. There’s not a lot I’ve not seen since starting out out as an Apprentice Engineer- then Qualified Engineer - Senior Engineer - Ops Manager - Branch Manager - Regional Manager- been the head of multiple departments to now Commercial Director. The companies have ranged from small independents to large independents and wonderful times national companies. Wow that’s a life at work summarised very quickly! Within my role I’m responsible for not only the departmental but also for the overall performance and profitability of the business, I’m always striving to improve not only the Sales, Purchasing and Operational performance of existing contracts but by also achieving new sales through strategic planning to generate sustained business growth. It’s a great privilege to work with some wonderful talented people sharing knowledge and experience creating customer centric motivated teams at the heart of all I do.
