My current role is to help employers develop opportunities to bridge the experience gap and to help upskill their key employees. I have an extensive background in economic and workforce development and I have helped many companies navigate career pathways to keep their workforce engaged and trained.Prior to my current role I spent 15 years in economic and workforce development. Key roles included the management of the CareerLink system covering 8 counties in South Central Pennsylvania. In this role I managed five executive managers to coordinate the six regional CareerLink centers. I developed programs and resources to help align local workforce and employer needs. During that time I also provided strategic leadership to the South Central PREP program. This is a program that brings together the economic development organizations and service providers in the eight county Harrisburg-Lancaster-Lebanon-York metro region to deliver services and support to businesses.In addition to my work in economic development, I have also started several of my own businesses and have developed skills in eCommerce and online business development. Prior to working for the Harrisburg Regional Chamber & Capital Region Economic Development Corporation (CREDC), I worked as an executive for the Boy Scouts of America in York, PA, and I also spent 2 years working for Giant Food Stores in the corporate offices in Carlisle, PA in the accounting department.Specialties: project administration, international business, website planning, Microsoft Office
