My research focuses on the genetics and genomics of insecticide resistance in fall armyworm, with an emphasis on how resistance evolves and spreads in field populations. I evaluate insecticide performance across various IRAC mode-of-action groups to quantify resistance levels and identify underlying mechanisms, and generate data-driven insights that guide precise and effective insecticide use to improve pest management practices for crop protection.My goal is to reduce insecticide resistance risks in fall armyworm and support growers and industry partners in implementing reliable, long-term, and sustainable pest management strategies.
