Responsible for credit underwriting, working on annual credit reviews, managing new requests including structuring credit limits, completing comprehensive business, operational and industrial risk assessments- Carrying out detailed analysis of borrower’s financial statements, reviewing covenant tests, analyzing key financial ratios- Review each business in a portfolio on a periodic basis to gauge opportunities and preempt risks associated with that industry. Based on the analysis, formalizing bank’s clear strategy on each relationship- Interacting with clients on a frequent basis to ensure that service standards are adhered to. In person client meetings to stay in the market and look out for any new opportunity to grow business- Monthly monitoring of borrower’s compliance to terms and conditions of our credit agreement- Quarterly review of individual and team goals to assess progress and to ensure that the overall performance is heading in the right trajectory- Meeting regulatory and audit requirements on a transactional basis and at period review- Ensure that bank’s policies and guidelines are adhered with, and provide value added advice to internal partners- Conduct business and industrial research to develop sensitized financial projections for in depth analysis- Identify “New to Bank” clients, opportunities for business growth and cross sell opportunities within the portfolio.
