ABOUT SHASHWAT SANYAM ROY

Shashwat Sanyam Roy is a PhD Research Scholar in Psychology at the University of Delhi with a strong academic background and a deep interest in psychological research. His research interests include mental health and well-being, cognitive processes, and various domains of Psychology. He secured Rank 1( Gold Medal) in MA Psychology from Patna University, demonstrating consistent academic excellence throughout his postgraduate studies. During this period, he achieved several notable milestones: clearing UGC NET in the 2nd semester, qualifying GATE 2025 in the 3rd semester, and securing UGC NET–JRF in the 4th semester. Shashwat holds a BA (Hons.) in Psychology, where he developed a strong foundation in research methodology and psychological assessment. At the undergraduate level, he completed a research project on \"Depression among College Students\", which strengthened his understanding of mental health concerns among young adults. During his postgraduate studies, he worked under the guidance of Dr. Shruti Narain on a research paper titled “Caste-Based Microaggressions,” which is currently under review. This work reflects his engagement with socially relevant and contemporary psychological issues. He has also completed a clinical internship at IGIMS, gaining practical exposure to psychological assessment, case history taking, and clinical observation, helping bridge theoretical knowledge with applied clinical experience. Shashwat aspires to contribute meaningfully to academic research, teaching, and mental health practice, with a long-term goal of becoming a researcher and educator in psychology. He is open to academic collaborations, research discussions, and opportunities that foster learning and intellectual growth
