About Shashwat Gangwal
Shashwat is a passionate social entrepreneur and runs InfinityBox- India\'s largest sustainable packaging as a service. Working with 80+ enterprises across India, InfinityBox helps reduce Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions by 40-60% in their cafeteria, while reducing their cost by upto 30%, and completely outsourcing their operational hassles. They have generated employment for 450+ people and raised money from marquee investors along with grants from reputable global orgs like Alliance to end Plastic Waste, Hult Prize, UNDP, etc.He graduated from IIT Kharagpur at the top of his class in 2019 while publishing multiple research papers on Bitcoin. He joined Mckinsey & Co as a consultant and worked across sectors- Delivered 200Cr in Indirect cost savings in Pharma industry to one of the largest Pharma Cos in India, suggested strategies to reduce the TAT of Vendor Financing for MSME loans from 15 days to < 1 hour for one of the largest public sector banks, surveyed farmers across 8 states to understand the impact of Covid and presented that to the top CXOs in the country, and helped one of the largest NGOs in the world to raise funds amounting to ~$10M. Post that he was the youngest senior investment manager at an impact-focused fund, Sagana, where he invested in funds and startups in FoodTech, alternatives to plastic, and Climate-related solutions. Working with UNDP in Jordan, having represented India at Unleash Singapore, being a member of the Hult Prize, and running a podcast on Circular Economy (played in 60+ countries) are some of his other experiences in the impact space.
