   As a Construction Inspector at MSL, I provide field inspections on heavy highway, transportation, and infrastructure projects, representing the Construction Manager to ensure contractor compliance with IDOT and Tollway policies. I monitor and document daily construction activities, preparing comprehensive Daily Reports with detailed observations, material quantities, labor usage, and compliance status, supported by videos and photographs. I also review and maintain as-built and record drawings, analyze construction issues for potential scope, time, or cost impacts, and coordinate quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) inspections, including non-compliance notices and corrective actions. Additionally, I assist in preparing QA/QC documents, conducting field tests, and ensuring compliance with contract documents. I participate in Weekly Progress Meetings with contractors, review monthly progress pay estimates for earned value, and monitor Force Account change orders. I also prepare and manage project punch lists for deficient or incomplete work, ensuring high-quality project execution and final acceptance.
