About Shashi Kumar D
Dr. Shashi Kumar D is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at CHRIST University, where he has been a faculty member since 2011. He completed his B.E. in Electronics Engineering from SJCIT, Chickballapur in 2007, followed by an M.Tech from IIT Madras in 2010. In 2023, he earned his Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from CHRIST University. Before joining CHRIST University, he worked at ICFAI University, Dehradun, for one year. His academic contributions are complemented by his role as Co-Principal Investigator for the establishment of a state-of-the-art RF & MW Research laboratory, which includes an Anechoic Chamber, enabling advanced research in radio frequency technologies.In addition to his teaching and research responsibilities, Dr. Shashi Kumar has actively contributed to professional organizations. He served as Chair of the CHRIST University APS Student Branch from 2016 to 2022 and currently holds advisory roles for both the APS SBC and MTTS SBC. His research interests encompass a wide range of topics, including microstrip antennas, antenna arrays, metamaterials, and RF energy harvesting. As an Associate Member of the IETE and a member of the Institute of Engineers (India), Dr. Shashi Kumar is committed to fostering innovation and excellence in the field of electronics and communication engineering.
