Sustainability enthusiast with over 16 years of experience. Leading projects to accelerate the sustainability journey of businesses. Expertise in multi stakeholder engagement and management which is necessary for driving any sustainability related project.Having worked both in the consultancy and industry domain, my expertise lies in developing strategy and roadmap, identifying solutions for sustainability related challenges, capacity building, leading collaboration, and partnerships. Over the years, I have acquired skills related to decarbonisation, circularity, water, waste, biodiversity management, nature positive, physical climate risk assessment, supply chain sustainability, non-financial disclosure (CDP, DJSI, TCFD, BRSR, GRI etc), environment and social due diligence, ESG rating analysis.My role at ABG involves facilitating and leading projects related to environment and climate change. It involves supporting ABG businesses (spanning across multiple sectors) in aligning to the Group target related to Net Zero emissions, Zero waste to landfill, reducing specific fresh water consumption, No net Loss etc. Identifying collaboration and partnerships for specific sustainability related challenges that businesses are currently facing e.g waste utilisation, decarbonisation, scaling up circularity, wastewater treatment, climate change adaptation and mitigation etc. Positioning ABG as one of the most sustainable companies through thought leadership, representing in external forums (WBCSD, FICCI, CII, CDP, UKRI etc). Leading projects with thinktanks and non-governmental organization such as WBCSD e.g Built Environment, Circular Transition Indicator Fashion Initiative, Transport and Mobility (ZEV).I also have the experience of working across various sectors such as cement, paper and pulp, distillery, automotive, renewable energy. My career started with working on Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) projects with successful registration and issuance of Certified Emission Reduction (CER) for multiple clients and conducting GRI assurance audits.
