I am Shashikant Ranjan, a multidisciplinary visual Artist and Filmmaker from India. I have done my bachelor and masters in fine arts. After completing my masters I have decided to choose my career in film industry and currently I am working as a freelancer in Mumbai, India. Creating and designing interactive experiences for films, tv series and ad films for 6 years. I am proficient in An art direction, production design, painting, drawing, Sculpture, installation, poetry, art and craft and theatre.I enjoy a good cup of tea, Watching world cinema and web series, playing flute or do sketching or practicing water color.

ABOUT SHASHI KANTH RANJAN
I am a Fine Arts professional with a BFA in Art Education from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi and an MFA in Painting from Lovely Professional University, Punjab. After completing my academic training, I joined the Indian film industry in 2016 and have since worked as an Art Director and Production Designer, creating visual spaces, set designs, and storytelling environments for films and creative projects.My journey has given me a unique blend of academic knowledge and real-world creative experience. Now, I am committed to transitioning into academia as an Assistant Professor, where I can share my expertise in fine arts, painting, art education, production design, and visual storytelling with students. I am passionate about nurturing the next generation of artists and filmmakers by combining theory with hands-on practice, and contributing to research, teaching, and curriculum development in higher education.
