As Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of Artson Engineering Ltd, a listed Tata Group subsidiary company, Shashank oversees a manufacturing and EPC organization that specializes in the production of heavy engineered process equipment and metal products. These products range from pressure vessels and heat exchangers to metal structures and vessels for power plants, refineries, processing plants, shipbuilding, and large metal storage tanks. Through his leadership, Shashank contributes to India\'s ‘Make in India’ ambition by ensuring world-class production quality within the country. Earlier, Shashank held the position of Executive, Business Operations and Country Manager India at Baker Hughes, where he played a crucial role in the growth of the company\'s India geomarket for Oil Field Equipment (OFE) business. Under his management, the annual revenue increased tenfold over ten years Shashank spent almost 15 years at GE/BH. His first two years at GE were spent honing his commercial intensity on the ‘experienced commercial leadership program’ (ECLP). Shashank obtained his degree in petroleum engineering from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology - Indian School of Mines Dhanbad in and later completed his MBA from the esteemed Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIMB) in 2004. His career began in field roles, project management, and business analysis before transitioning to sales and marketing and business management. Leveraging his extensive knowledge in the energy technology space and commercial processes, Shashank built a team of high-performing individuals, ultimately achieving significant growth and a formidable market share in the Indian market. Actively contributing to the energy and technology sectors, Shashank serves as an advisor or speaker on numerous industry technical forums. He has been a board member of SPE Mumbai for over five years and is currently its Secretary. Additionally, he has actively participated in the ET India Leadership Council\'s subcommittees and is on the Corporate Advisory board of Chandigadh University. He takes a keen interest in coaching and mentoring young talent. Outside of his professional life, Shashank is dedicated to social impact initiatives. He has been the elected secretary of his 100+ member cooperative housing society for a decade, managing a mini P&L. Furthermore, Shashank has made a personal commitment to sustainability. He has developed a farm near Mumbai, where he has planted hundreds of trees and promotes initiatives such as rainwater harvesting.
