ABOUT SHASHANK GALLA

I am pursuing my MS in Data Science and Industrial Engineering, focusing on state-of-the-art techniques in statistics, machine learning, and deep learning. I am currently working on a project with Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, applying anomaly detection methods to the shell polishing process using video and vibration sensor data.I have also gained valuable industry experience as a Data Analytics and Business Intelligence Co-Op at Wayfair, where I streamlined ETL processes, developed a real-time dashboard, and conducted in-depth statistical analysis on customer care data, leading to significant performance improvements. I am proficient in tools such as Python, R, MATLAB, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and Excel, and I have skills in ML techniques, NLP, and data visualization. I am a self-motivated, responsible, and considerate learner, who is always eager to learn new tools and stay current with technology. My goal is to serve organizations by extracting value from data and enabling data-driven decisions.
