About Shashank Vyas
Working at the intersection of digital transformation and energy transition facilitated by energy storage and DER integration management. Leading the AEMS grid-services track for GE partnership. Part of the Future State power systems architecture design & development for Australia Energy Market Operator (AEMO) as Functional Domain expert.Have worked as Manager - Innovation (Energy Storage) at SB Energy as part of the SoftBank group. My role warranted conceptualizing and executing innovations in the space of energy storage coupled with elements of energy analytics. Prior to SB Energy, I was Associate Fellow at The Energy and Resources Institute, New Delhi and was responsible for executing research projects on grid-integration studies, battery storage, EVs and blockchain applications. Prior to that, I was engaged as a Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE)- Junior Research Fellow (JRF) at Malviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) Jaipur for pursuing doctoral research on computational intelligence for mitigating unintentional islanding in PV integrated SMART distribution Grids.
