ABOUT SHASHANK SHARMA
I\'m an avid Math and CS enthusiast and love working on mathematical problems that require efficient computation.During my bachelor’s degree, I learned about computer systems from the ground up, CS Theory andMachine Learning. I especially acquired extensive experience in computer architecture, programming closeto the hardware (in OpenCL, OpenGL, C), and optimizing code for efficient hardware utilization. All thishelped me develop an deep appreciation for the intricate interaction between hardware and software, thatenables code to run faster. In addition, my proficiency in scientific computing (using frameworks such asPyTorch, Octave, and NumPy) allows me to transform mathematics into efficient code.Furthermore, my immense passion for mathematics and a desire to do research drove me to pursue amaster’s degree in Mathematics, with a research focus on probability. I have taken courses across the spectrum of math - including analysis, differential geometry, partial differential equations, scientific computing, probability, etc. I am always delighted at the prospect of learning new mathematics, enabling me to tackle a vast variety of real world math problems in practice and solve them using efficient code.
