About Shashank Gopal
People see and feel the effects of Civil Engineering on a daily basis - from the water that reaches your homes to the road one takes to get around the city, it is all a product of Civil Engineering. As a child I had a natural fascination and deep curiosity towards Civil Engineering structures - be it roads, bridges, dams, buildings, tunnels, canals etc. I studied in Gandhinagar, Gujarat till the age of 8 and later on shifted to Kerala where I completed the rest of my schooling. As a result, I was exposed to different cultures, which helped me greatly appreciate the beauty in diversity. Choosing to \'construct\' my road to happiness and success, I completed my B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering. Today, I am a Civil Engineer with 5 years of experience in the field of construction of Roads and Highways, Bridges, Civil and Interior Works. Skilled in keeping teams on tasks, meeting deadlines, studying drawings, attending meeting with Clients, Local Authorities, External Agencies and Management, assessing the impact on environment, solving problematic issues, overseeing safety standards, and ensuring quality and timely completion of projects. I was a part of ULCCS Ltd. from May 2019 to end of Feb 2022, one of the leading Civil Construction Groups in the State, who over the past 100 years have completed 7500+ Projects including many prestigious Projects for the State Government departments along with gaining international recognition for completing key Projects ahead of time without compromising on quality and aesthetics. During my tenure at ULCCS Ltd. I had the privilege of handling National Highway ( NH - 66, four lane project), State Highway, Bridge reconstruction and renovation and Hill Highway Projects. From May 2022, I have been working at Delta Projects, a partnership, successfully engaged in undertaking Civil and Interior Projects for Corporates, Banks, Showrooms, Restaurants and Educational Institutions. In my spare time, I like to sing, play instrumental music and travel. I am deeply passionate about music and have received accolades for my singing through participation in various music festivals. I have a Merit Certificate in Hindustani Vocals from the esteemed \'Shankar Mahadevan Online Music Academy\'.
