Develop multi-physics models to simulate tritium production, transport, and extraction in molten salt breeding blankets for fusion systems. Create and mesh geometries of experimental breeding blanket designs using Coreform Cubit. Perform neutronics simulations to evaluate tritium production rates within the blanket using OpenMC. Simulate convection and conjugate heat transfer processes governing tritium transport using nekRS. Couple neutronics, thermal-fluid, and tritium transport models within the MOOSE framework to analyse tritium extraction.
