ABOUT SHARON WALDROP

With over 27 years of experience collaborating with patients, physicians, researchers, policymakers, and stakeholders, I’m dedicated to improving the lives of those living with fibromyalgia and chronic pain.My journey with chronic pain began in adolescence and shaped both my personal and professional path—from being bedridden to skydiving and rock climbing. That lived experience fuels my passion for advocacy, education, and compassionate support.I’ve held leadership and public relations roles in nonprofit health organizations, led patient and physician education programs, and championed patient advocacy at both grassroots and national levels.In 2021, I became a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach through Wellcoaches. I also hold certifications in:Lifestyle Medicine (American College of Lifestyle Medicine)Pain Management Coaching (Pain Coach Academy)Menopause Lifestyle Practitioner(MyMT™ Certified Practitioner)I specialize in fibromyalgia and offer private coaching through hwcsharon.com. I also facilitate monthly Support & Education Group meetings for people with fibromyalgia and their families—an initiative I launched in 1997 that has since grown into the nonprofit Fibromyalgia Association at ManageFibro.org.I’m also the co-founder and co-host of The Fibro Show on YouTube—a unique mix of talk show, vlog, and webinar designed to improve the well-being of people with fibromyalgia. It’s a fast-track platform for delivering timely, relevant information to the fibro community.
