ABOUT SHARON COOKE
Consultant within the accountancy profession. I work with firms of accountants to get the technical and regulatory requirements right while also fostering a vibrant growing accounting practice. I work with individual firms on their specific consulting (file reviews) or training needs and with wide-ranging groups via our 20:20 Innovation webinar and conference programme.I have the pleasure of curating our 20:20 Innovation webinar programme of over 150 varied and relevant topics each year. I am passionate about supporting new speakers and creating a diverse range of viewpoints and experiences. This mix ensures we are delivering the best advice to our member firms.As a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor, I also enjoy designing courses and presenting courses myself - mainly on tax topics but I speak on most emerging areas. I thrive on turning complex legislation into practical pointers and actions. As well as speaking on our programme and for individual clients, I also talk at professional body events and at the best trade events including Accountex. Our high-energy bi-annual 20:20 Innovation Practice Management Conferences are always a highlight and we work with the best of the best to bring the latest trends and developments to accountancy practices throughout the UK. Outside of training, I also provide tax and Practice Assurance file reviews and work on Excel tools and calculators to make life in practice a little easier. I also author marketing and update materials for accountancy firms to send to their clients. Since November 2024 when it became a 20:20 Innovation group company, I am also a contributor to the RossMartin.co.uk practical tax database.I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and regularly present for both organisations.
