London, GB

Senior IC role owning the full L&D lifecycle (strategy, instructional design, LMS, analytics) for Academic & Government Sales and Customer Success at Elsevier, with the Challenger Sales methodology as the throughline.Currently rebuilding the CSM onboarding curriculum: Pulling content from recorded SME calls, FLM interviews, and webinar archives, then using ChatGPT and Codex to synthesise transcripts into structured, branded Articulate Rise modules. Replaces a SharePoint-of-recordings with a real curriculum. Now live; adoption tracking begins with 2025/2026 new hires.Led the LMS migration from Workramp to Docebo on a hard deadline, with ~700 active learners. Made the call mid-stream to pivot from a full content audit to a selective rebuild, migrated only the content that was actually fit for use, and shipped on time with minimal disruption. Coordinated across L&D, tech, Docebo support, marketing, product, and sales.AI Literacy in production: Built interactive Articulate Rise components using ChatGPT for content drafting and Codex for custom interactivity; produced video assets in Synthesia. AI is part of the toolkit, not the pitch.Initiated CSM excellence programme alignment across cross-functional stakeholders.

ABOUT SHARON JOHN

I rebuild learning programs from messy SME inputs (recorded calls, scattered Word docs, slide decks, Front Line Manager ideas) into onboarding people actually use.In my current role, I\'m rebuilding a Customer Success onboarding curriculum that way: pulling from webinars, SME interviews, and FLM-surfaced gaps, then using ChatGPT and Codex to turn that raw material into branded, interactive Articulate Rise modules. Before that, I built a series of product learning pathways for sales and customer success teams, digitalised an enterprise sales methodology into a reusable training module, and partnered on a full LMS migration on a hard deadline with minimal disruption to active learners. My background is unusual for senior L&D: a decade at Amazon scaling from associate to Site Trainer Lead to Learning Experience Designer means I know what training feels like when it\'s done badly, on the floor, with real consequences. That operational lineage plus the AI work means I can close the gap between what SMEs know and what learners can use, faster than the old \"hire a contractor team\" model.AI is part of the toolkit, not the pitch. What I\'m actually good at is the SME translation work. AI just lets me do it without a contractor team.Tools I work in: Articulate Rise, Synthesia, ChatGPT, Codex and Docebo. Always interested in talking to other people working at the intersection of L&D and applied AI.
