Skilled in credit, finance, sales management, business development, governance, risk management and community development.In 2020, I served as Co - Sponsor of the Huntington Social Equity Plan which culminated in the development of a $20B Community Plan. Working in collaboration with the Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and the Community Development Program Director, we worked with all business segments to drive economic inclusion.In 2016, I was named the executive responsible for operationalizing and embedding accountability for philanthropy, volunteerism and connectivity to organizations serving community needs across the 8 state footprint.

ABOUT SHARON SPEYER
As a seasoned financial services executive, I am driven to make a difference for our customers, my colleagues and the communities that Huntington serves. As Regional President, I have achieved financial results through numerous economic cycles, expanded organizational capabilities and executed strategies to deliver sustainable results. My experience has included responsibility for all banking segments including commercial, retail, wealth and investment and insurance. My passion for strengthening the community aligns with my responsibilities to drive impact as the executive responsible for Community Development Outreach across Huntington\'s footprint. In that capacity. I am fortunate to work with Executive Leadership to set strategy regarding community philanthropy, social purpose, volunteerism, community engagement and financial empowerment. I began my banking career as General Counsel of a community bank that was ultimately acquired by Huntington. This experience provided me with significant exposure to all aspects of banking. One of my greatest honors has been my ability to give back to the community that I call home. To that end, I am proud to have served on the board of the University of Toledo for nine years as a gubernatorial appointment, serving two years as Chair. I serve as the current Chair for two organizations - Toledo Lucas County Port Authority as an appointee of the Mayor of Toledo. and ConnecToledo. I remain active on other boards including the Toledo Museum of Art, Regional Growth Partnership and Toledo Symphony. It is my strong belief that each of us can make a difference in our communities. Therefore, I am actively engaged in the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Initiatives in the City of Toledo.
