ABOUT SHARON S. NAZARIAN
As President of the Younes & Soraya Nazarian, Family Foundation, founder of the UCLA Y&S Nazarian Center for Israel Studies and a board member at Freedom House and ADL (the Anti-Defamation League), I leverage my nonprofit expertise and skills in fundraising and management to advance the causes of human rights, democracy, and combating antisemitism. With over 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, I have contributed to the strategic vision, governance, and financial sustainability of these organizations, as well as supported their advocacy, education, and outreach programs. I am also a lifetime member of the Council on Foreign Relations, where I engage with global leaders and experts on critical issues affecting the world. I am passionate about bringing my diverse perspectives as a Jewish Iranian-American to all institutions and efforts I support.
