The Community Wellness Director is responsible for the oversite of all wellness programming and community wellness partnerships between the JCC and local businesses, agencies, municipalities and services - reaching out to medical practices and local healthcare institutions to develop specific health and wellness programming aimed at assisting the community in reducing risk factors for diseases, better understanding health topics, and feeling engaged in their own health so that they take appropriate action; serving the JCC members by connecting them to community health resources; reaching out to local companies to offer ways to enhance their corporate wellness plans by designing programs to cultivate healthy habits, to help lower healthcare costs, and reduce risk factors for chronic diseases.
