WORK HISTORY
Electric Vehicle (Ev) Program Specialist @San Francisco Environment Department
San Francisco, CA, US
Since joining the San Francisco Department of the Environment in 2011, I have managed a variety of projects and initiatives designed to encourage electric vehicle adoption. I oversaw and coordinated the deployment of almost 140 level 2 chargers at over 50 locations around San Francisco as project manager for both the City\'s public charging infrastructure rollout and MultiCharge SF, an innovative demonstration project that brought charging to over 30 multifamily buildings. I collaborate in the development of EV-friendly policies and legislation, and am currently leading the process of updating San Francisco\'s Green Building Code to require EV-ready electrical infrastructure in new buildings. I also contribute to several regional, state, and federal EV planning efforts and initiatives, engage in community education and outreach activities, and provide ongoing technical assistance to San Francisco city departments, employees, businesses, and residents. I am currently launching the San Francisco MUD Neighborhood Charging Project, which will assess technologies and approaches to bringing EV charging to multifamily building residents and those without garages.
