ABOUT SHARON H COLE
Experienced in delivering nationally recognized qualifications within FE and HE in the fields of advocacy, equity and diversity. I am passionate about empowering individuals and groups to exercise their rights and voice their needs. I currently work as an independent advocacy trainer/assessor at Gower College Swansea, where I design and deliver engaging courses and assessments for learners from various backgrounds and sectors. I am also a higher education lecturer at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, where I teach modules on equity and diversity in society. I hold a master\'s degree in equity and diversity, and I am interested in researching and instigating change to promote social justice and inclusion. I am a PhD student, vehemently working to ensure fairness for young people transitioning from care. Additionally, I am an external end point assessor for City & Guilds, where I evaluate the competency and performance of candidates in leadership and management roles in health and social care. I have strong skills in coaching, mentoring, communication, networking, and influencing, and I work with integrity and professionalism.
