ABOUT SHARON E SORENSEN
As a wee girl I was most often found hunched over paper with a fist full of pencils and colourful pens, I’d spend hours creating a vibrant group of characters. I\'d tell their stories out loud, putting on different voices, doing the sound effects and creating their theme tunes. Always trying to think of the best shot or angle to tell the story from. I\'m not so wee now, but not much has changed. I’m a 2D Animator with credits on multiple high end and internationally broadcast television commercials, television series, award winning short films and feature films with cinematic release.Character animation is where my heart lies. Over the pandemic, I wrote, directed and animated my own short film, Ned, now touring the globe on the festival circuit, and have been funded by ScreenSkills to undertake training in both Cut Out Animation and Rigging in ToonBoom Harmony, and Rigging in CelAction2D.
