About Sharon Durkee

I started my voice career twenty five years ago, working as a disc jockey, news anchor and commercial announcer on radio stations in New England. I went on to do a bunch of different things, but I never lost my love for voice over and the wonderful images the sounds coming out of that box created in my mind. I recently completed a comprehensive voice over training course with Such A Voice, one of the premier voice over instruction sites. I had one on one training with a voice coach to develop my tehcnique, and learned basic editing. SAV also helped me to create a sound booth in my home from which I can produce ACX acceptable level recordings. How has my voice been described?
