About Sharon Dolin
Sharon Dolin is a poet, essayist, aphorist, teacher, editor, readings curator, and Director of Writing About Art in Barcelona. She was selected by Poet Laureate Natasha Trethewey to receive the Witter Bynner Fellowship from the Library of Congress for 2013. She has taught poetry workshops at the Unterberg Poetry Center of the 92nd Street Y in New York City for 20 years. From 20••••13, she was a Visiting Professor of Creative Writing at Hofstra University. From 20••••12, she was Writer-in-Residence at Eugene Lang College, The New School. Since 1996, Sharon Dolin has directed and co-judged The Center for Book Arts Annual Letterpress Chapbook Competition. Prior to that, Sharon Dolin taught an Introductory humanities course at The Cooper Union and worked as an Executive Editor at Rebus, Inc. Sharon Dolin lives in NYC and teaches privately as well as providing one-on-one manuscript consultations.
