At Cummins, I oversee many of the company’s largest and most critical global functions including emissions, product compliance and regulatory affairs, government relations, global risk, ESG, ethics & compliance, data privacy, investigations and right environment, marketing and communications, shared business services and corporate responsibility; as the company’s General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, I worked closely with the board to reduce risk, including in cybersecurity and a changing regulatory environment and I worked directly with the CEO and lead board director on the recent CEO and lead director transitions; and as the interim CHRO, I led innovative efforts to accelerate talent development and drive integrated business partnering to achieve strategic goals. I also previously served as the Deputy Undersecretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Deputy Director of the United States Patent and Trademark Office for the U.S. Department of Commerce and on the boards of directors of Atmus Filtration Technologies, Inc.(NYSE:ATMU) and Walker Innovations, Inc.(OTCQB: WLKR). I have a deep understanding of the business opportunities of emerging technologies, including AI, hydrogen fuel technologies, microgrids, energy technologies, and cybersecurity. And I serve as an executive guide across industries, bringing a wide aperture to leverage opportunities in IP strategies, corporate initiatives, global risk, and mergers & acquisitions.
