Supporting and covering for the Operations Manager to ensure that day-to-day operations run smoothly within the department• Team coordination, acting as a link between employees and management, and facilitating communication within the team. Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures• Implementation of changes to streamline the sales and production processes including updating processes and procedures for customer services, sales and production• Approving and checking sales orders are entered correctly against the customer requirements. Checking availability of stock for sales order requirements and liaising with production and purchasing departments to ensure stock requirements are fulfilled. Raising purchase orders and reconciliation of expense reports• Designing and conducting training programs for new starters. Coordinating activities and scheduling training sessions for current staff in customer operations for UK, Germany and USA• Creating and uploading training videos for the in-house CRM system and help functions for UK, Germany and USA • Producing monthly KPI reports using data from in-house CRM systems and reporting these to management for UK and Germany• Maintaining the ‘Borrowed/On Loan Stock’ items for production, repairs and events• Covering for the German operations manager• Working with other departments to investigate stock discrepancies through to resolution• Organising and booking travel, accommodation and drivers for UK and overseas events
