As the Head of Warehouse Stores Function, my responsibilities include stores operation for all production shop stores across plant,scheduling and procurement, leading the operation of the brought-out parts warehouse, managing the migration to BS-VI engineering changes, and driving improvements in plant stores and smart logistics. I also spearheaded digitization projects, material inventory audits, material handling, reverse logistics, and packaging lead initiatives. My role involves overseeing all material flow inside the plant, from material reporting at the plant gate to receiving, storage, line feed, and dispatch for the entire plant. I manage day-to-day production-related material transactions, both physical and in the system. I established a logistic center for the entire plant, along with shop-specific warehousing systems and different processes. I focus on team building through manpower recruitment and training, establishing systems and processes for material flow inside the plant, selecting MHE vendors, finalizing orders for MHE, coordinating with projects to commission equipment readiness, coordinating for SAP implementation, and managing inventory obsolescence and change. Additionally, I oversee parts packaging development.
