   I lead automation and digital transformation CapEx projects across Site Infrastructure, Homecare, Personal Care, and Beauty & Wellbeing at HUL R&D Mumbai, with an annual budget averaging 700K€. My responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, and execution of CapEx and Opex, collaborating with finance teams on asset capitalization and business reporting. I am also developing and onboarding new vendors in this domain.I lead innovative R&D projects deploying pilot-scale machines and UR e-series cobots (with control partners - Alstrut, Enconsys, Fox Solutions) to automate manual process. I also work on solutions to integrate real-time measurement data into LIMS.I execute IoT projects by digitizing lab and pilot plant batch processes through integration of field devices, Siemens S7 PLCs, OPC servers, and cloud-based data capture. Developed and integrated MES for seamless connectivity with plant-level instrumentation, enabling real-time data acquisition and traceability.I manage Building Automation projects, integrating remote monitoring systems such as HVAC, fire detection, water distribution, fire hydrant, electricals and energy management etc. into a single SCADA platform (Schneider EcoStruxure, Siemens Desigo CC).I also lead AI-based vision analytics projects to enhance digital safety.Acting as the IT-OT bridge between central IT and R&D, ensuring reliable infrastructure deployment, cybersecurity compliance, and digital capability rollouts.
