   Transformed Adventist Health Bakersfield, 254-bed facility, around after facing 30-day Medicare closure. Held executive positions for organizational excellence, business development, and chief operating officer. Managed strategy, operation of hospitals, and maximized quality and efficiency, including labor control, clinics, and strengthening physician relationships to build volume. Provided leadership and direction for departmental management for two facilities including Tehachapi, 25-bed critical access facility. Initiated journey for excellence culture dedicated to improving health care outcomes and patient and physician engagement through tenets of Baldrige Performance Excellence Program. Created results-oriented culture to seize opportunities to advance quality, service, and performance. Reduced committees from over 100 to 19 supported by formal charters focused on improving key results. Recruited over one dozen providers of multiple specialties. Secured funding for additional new hospital campus projected to increase AH’s market share by one-third. Managed initiatives with strategic partners by creating alignment and mutual goals. Implemented daily huddles with leadership to assure communication and strategic initiatives met across organization. Led multiple successful and sustainable joint commission accreditations and CMS licensing surveys. Opened greenfield hospital in Tehachapi. Secured 400M for new facility Developed Philanthropic Foundation Renegotiated agreement with major payer and multiyear with large managed Medi-Cal payer worth $9M. Decreased LOS by 8% with annual impact of $5,1M. Increased AHTVs operating margin by $4M after opening new facility, with 10% negative margin to breakeven with trajectory to reach $3M to-$4M in current year. Bettered annual growth rate of cancer program by 20%.
