ABOUT SHARLEEN LAVERGNE
Ifri was established by Thierry de Montbrial in 1979 and has become the principal institution for independent research and debate in France dedicated to the analysis of international affairs and global governance. A think tank that draws on an in-house team of experts, it publishes Ramses (and annual review of global affairs), Politique Étrangère (a quarterly journal), and a wide range of policy papers based on research and fieldwork. Ifri’s primary audiences are political and economic decision-makers, the academic community, opinion leaders, as well as representatives of civil society.
