This includes architecture, reference software, middleware porting, and supporting customers in North and South America.Marcus is the chair of Broadcom\'s Open Source Review Board. The OSRB is responsible for creating and maintaining Broadcom\'s open source policy, educating engineers on open source licenses, and reviewing open source usage within Broadcom.Marcus\' personal embedded software expertise includes writing code for MPEG-2 TS, PVR (trick modes, playback, record), and system level audio and video decoding operation.Marcus enjoys filling in any available time with technical tasks. This includes participating on system, software and hardware architecture efforts, patent work (50 granted to date), code reviews, and creation of a Python/Django based project tracking and task management tool used by over 400 engineers at Broadcom.
