Advise leaders and team members regarding company values, programs (benefits, pay, and salary) administration, and interpretation to ensure guidelines and procedures are handled consistently and timely.• Build and nurture strong relationships with business leaders and key stakeholders; partner with colleagues inside and outside of the People Team to innovate, enhance, align, and drive the effectiveness of People-related initiatives.• Drive retention efforts with leadership and partner with other leaders to collaborate on best practices.• Provide coaching to business partners on the objective assessment of talent; specifically, leadership and support functions with the DC.• Proactively diagnose People related issues, and partner with Ops leaders to identify strategic solutions and implement action plans.• Establish and build trust and credibility with stakeholders through accessibility, responsiveness, and providing sound guidance.• Facilitate and schedule exit interviews collecting feedback to promote insight and growth.• Communicates and provides guidance to leadership on People related procedures, programs, and benefits while ensuring compliance with Federal, State and Local laws.• Guide and provide counsel to leaders on escalated employee relations matters within the Distribution Center. Conduct prompt and thorough internal investigations and audits, and guide leaders to do the same. Approve terminations and support leaders with the corrective action process to ensure a consistent team member experience that minimizes unnecessary disruption to the business.• Assist in EEOC responses, employee surveys, and lead compliance efforts.• Partner with leadership to guide and oversee performance management processes.• Provide support to leadership in their development - including the creation of stretch assignments in partnership with Ops to ensure that continuous talent development is a high priority
