ABOUT SHARIYAH M.

Hi! I have a strong interest in health-system leadership, pharmacy operations, and advancing innovative models of care. I am looking to pursue postgraduate training through a Health-System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership Residency to further develop skills in operational management and leading high-performing pharmacy teams within health systems.Throughout pharmacy school, I have intentionally pursued leadership opportunities that focus on building programs, strengthening teams, and creating sustainable impact. Serving as President of IPhO and past President of SNPhA, I led initiatives that expanded professional engagement, developed new leadership pathways for students, and implemented programs that connected pharmacy education with real-world healthcare challenges.In addition to leadership roles, I have been deeply involved in community outreach, healthcare education, and initiatives supporting underserved populations. These experiences reinforced my belief that strong pharmacy leadership directly impacts patient outcomes, workforce development, and the future direction of healthcare systems.I am motivated to grow into a pharmacy leader who can help health systems expand services, improve operational efficiency, and empower the next generation of pharmacists.
