Go to work and serve people!”With over 11 years in the insurance industry, I’ve learned that having a great benefits portfolio without education is like having a map but no directions—it’s not worth much. In 2013, I discovered the biggest missing piece in my employer’s benefits package: Voluntary Benefits. I didn’t know about them until after my autoimmune disease diagnosis and the medical debt that followed.Unfortunately, it was too late for me to benefit from those options when I needed them most. That personal experience, coupled with a lack of clarity, understanding, and education around insurance, motivated me to get licensed and deepen my expertise.Faced with unexpected medical bills and confusion, I realized how vital it is for individuals and businesses to truly understand their benefits options—and to make informed decisions from a place of knowledge.Today, I focus on educating and empowering others to take control of their benefits. I believe a comprehensive benefits portfolio—including Voluntary Benefits—can provide peace of mind, stability, and cash flow for families in ways that traditional medical insurance alone cannot.My WhyNo family should have to choose between critical at-home expenses or life-saving treatments.
