LITIGATION: Lead litigator on high profile events. Litigate employment, commercial, tort and regulatory matters. Manage an internal caseload with sole responsibility for all aspects of litigation including written and oral discovery, mediations, arbitrations, motions, oral arguments, court appearances, risk assessments and appeals. Handle all aspects of litigation including fact gathering, e-discovery monitoring and interpretation of legal standards. High success record with dispositive motions. EMPLOYMENT: Lead in-house counsel in State and Federal matters for individual and class action litigation. Respond to DFEH and EEOC charges, participate in labor arbitrations, and provide advice and counsel for internal processes. Provide ADA advice on physical locations as well as the client’s most frequently accessed website pages. Successfully served as strategic in-house counsel in a Breach of Contract/Employment jury trial leading to a defense verdict. CONTRACTS: Advise clients on Sourcing and IT contracts. Advise clients on cybersecurity risks and recovery associated with the breach of critical information. Collaborate on critical commercial projects and provide risk assessments to stakeholders.
