QA/QC one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, control schematics, and wiring diagrams for HV substations.Review & approve detailed designs of substation equipment layout, grounding, lightning protection, and cable routing for 30/60/90/IFC packages. Specify HV/MV/LV equipment including circuit breakers, transformers, disconnect switches, instrument transformers, relays, and control panels.Review protection and control (P&C) schemes, including interface with solar inverters, BESS, and SCADA systems.Coordinate with civil, structural, and electrical design teams for integration of substation with overall plant layout.Liaise with utilities/ISOs for grid interconnection requirements including protection, metering, and telemetry.Review and validate studies such as load flow, short circuit, grounding, arc flash, and insulation coordination.Support relay settings and coordination with protective relays and relaying schemes.Evaluate vendor bids, conduct technical clarifications, and support equipment selection and approvals.Provide engineering support during substation construction including RFIs, field changes, and redlines.Review and approve contractor drawings and as-built documentation.Maintain drawing logs, design deliverables, and revision control in line with EPC workflows.Interface with project managers, permitting teams, and O&M engineers to ensure operational reliability and constructability.
