Manage a series of healthcare administration duties in a fast-paced environment including but not limited to inventory management of clinical supplies, scheduling of follow-up visits with pediatricians, preparing for incoming births, and coordinating social support resources for new mothers.•As a Patient Care Technician (PCT), provide direct clinical support for up 40+ babies per day under the supervision of a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)/Special Care Unit (SCN)- Core duties include but are not limited to changing and feeding babies; performing vital assessments including oxygen saturation, temperature, blood pressure, and heart rate; and observing babies and reporting any pertinent changes to nursing staff- Experience treating babies with a wide variety of conditional including prematurity, respiratory distress, and multiple births, etc.•Experience working on the Pediatric Unit with patients diagnosed cancer, diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), broken ligaments, and a variety of mental health issues, etc.Key Highlights & Accomplishments:•Adapted quickly to the COVID-19 pandemic via adjusting to a constantly changing healthcare environment with minimal staffing levels and additional safety precautions to mitigate the risk of viral spread.•Recognized by leadership and a co-worker for delivering exemplary patient care and being a team player.•Served as member of the Night Shift Leadership Team to develop and drive process and quality improvement initiatives on the unit.
