WORK HISTORY
Economic Development Authority - Vice Chair, Board of Directors @Town Of Dumfries
As Vice Chair of the Economic Development Authority for the Town of Dumfries, I support the Board in guiding the town’s long-term economic vision, investment strategy, and business development priorities. I help translate high-level ideas into clear operating structures that enable faster, more aligned decision making across the Board.Drawing on my background in organizational change management, I focus on building alignment, reducing resistance to new initiatives, and creating shared language and processes that help the Board move with unity. I lead efforts to strengthen how the EDA organizes its work, including defining investment categories, establishing strategic focus areas, improving governance rhythms, and ensuring each initiative is matched with the right expertise. This structure enables more objective prioritization, clearer accountability, and greater transparency for residents and stakeholders. In partnership with the Chair and fellow directors, I help advance initiatives that enhance the town’s economic vitality, attract and support local businesses, and build the systems needed for sustainable community growth. My focus is on creating clarity, consistency, and trust so the EDA can operate effectively and deliver meaningful impact.
