ABOUT SHARATH KUMAR KOLIPAKA
I am Sharath Kumar Kolipaka, a dedicated and passionate researcher in international affairs with a specific focus on terrorism and recruitment strategies. My MA in Diplomacy, Law, and Business (DLB) from the Jindal School of International Affairs (JSIA) was a transformative experience, solidifying my interest in peace and conflict studies. During this time, I had the privilege of interning at several prestigious think tanks, including the United Service Institute of India (USI), the Center for Land Warfare Studies (CLAWS), and the National Maritime Foundation (NMF). These roles gave me invaluable insights into the complexities of terrorism and global security, shaping my approach to research and analysis.One of my most impactful career experiences was my internship with the UNESCO Association in Guwahati, where I conducted field research on the conflict between ULFA and the Indian government. This hands-on experience in interviewing key stakeholders and navigating sensitive socio-political landscapes was instrumental in honing my research skills.I am a Research Fellow at The New Global Order, an independent think tank based in Rome, Italy. Here, I focus on arms proliferation and its impact on global security, collaborating with international experts and contributing to cutting-edge research in conflict studies. I worked as political consultant for various stake holders across states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Worked across all the vectors of political consulting gained immense knowledge and insights into political consulting in the two states.As I continue to expand my expertise, I am actively pursuing professional development in quantitative research methods through platforms like Coursera.
