ARC Manager – P&O Europe & North Americas - Leading team of 47 people supporting into Month end closing and reporting, Controlling, Intercompany reporting, CO, Performance management, JV Accounting, Group recharge & recovery (worth of $2bn) Time-writing & MDM Roles & Responsibilities-Smooth Transition from Accenture, Stabilize and Manage overall Finalization of books of accounts & controlling for US region including consolidation and managing internal & external stakeholders -Multiple Global projects handled (Project Trinity, Project Guardian, Project Harmony)-SAP Optimization (Legal entity rationalization), this includes migration planning, discussion, Execution, UAT and final sign-off -Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all activities, to provide assurance to Finance Management on the integrity of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports-Ensure that the Group Reporting Manual is properly applied at the local entity level and all accounting judgments are consulted, evidenced, and approved within BP Accounting Policy requirements and Delegations of Authority-Act as finance SME to the business, applying detailed understanding of how appropriate application of accounting policy can ensure best results within policy and compliance remit-Support the delivery of timely and accurate statutory accounts and tax analysis through liaising with the Statutory Tax teams & Auditors if required-Support the control agenda and provide inputs to Due Diligence Process-Establish continuous monitoring of process performance and drive consistent improvement of KPI and report the GAP with control improvement in line with respective incident management policies (COLT / GAP) and procedures-Support stakeholders in various finance decisions and group reporting about the respective entity or business-Coach & develop team members capabilities -Drive Continuous Improvement projects and provide effective support to all transformations and other projects.
