Hey, I am Sharan Hegde, better known as Finance With Sharan. With 1 Crore+ followers across Instagram, YouTube & LinkedIn, you have probably seen my finance videos pop up in your feed. But LinkedIn is where I tell a different story. This is where I build in public. Right now, with a team of 200+ people, I am building something I genuinely believe Indians have been waiting for: an AI-first personal finance app inside 1% Club. But before I get there, a little backstory. It started in school, when I could not crack IIT (the classic Indian household story). That setback made me fiercely competitive. In 2019, I chased a promotion as a management consultant. Two years of grind got me a 5% raise and no promotion. Setback two. Then I attempted CAT 2021 dreaming of IIM Bangalore. Setback three. I am sure this resonates with a lot of you. So I treated every failure as feedback, and Finance With Sharan was born. The mission was simple: make finance simple, fun, and actually useful. 2 years ago I started the 1% Club to help people become financially independent. Today we are SEBI-licensed (RIA & RA), backed by Gruhas, and profitable. My simple problem statement behind all this is that: Most of us juggle a broker, a bank, three card apps, an insurance portal. Each does one thing okay. None of them helps you think across your full money picture. That is what we are fixing. An AI co-pilot that sees your complete financial life, answers in plain language, and nudges you before you make a mistake. Not generic internet advice, or an expensive human advisor you do not trust. Something in between, built for the Indian middle that has real money decisions but no one to ask. Financial independence is a superpower. Less than 1% of people get there in their lifetime. We are building the thing that gets you there.
