Currently serving as Chief Scientific Officer at Neuland Laboratories, he spearheads the development of next-generation, sustainable processes for complex small molecules and peptides—advancing both innovator and generic API portfolios for global pharmaceutical markets.Sharad has previously led transformational initiatives as SVP at Piramal Pharma, where he held fullP & L responsibility for Discovery from 2016 and Peptides businesses, integrating R&D and manufacturingacross multiple global sites. Under his leadership, best-in-class EBITDAs were achieved for the sites under him, successful integration of Hemmo Pharmaceuticals, and implementation of pioneering technologies in flow chemistry, photochemistry, and electrochemistry were conceptualized and delivered.
