I am working as head of deptt C&I,EEMG and MTP at Dadri gas project of NTPC Ltd, with over 30 years of experience in the energy sector, driving transformative initiatives in Digital transformation, Renewable energy, project management, O&M, Safety Management, Field Quality,Project Engineering, Erection & commissioning and digital innovation. My career spans engineering, erection, commissioning, and operations across thermal, gas, and solar power projects, with a proven track record of delivering sustainable, cost-effective solutions. Currently, I lead maintenance, operational excellence, and new energy initiatives at NTPC Dadri Gas Power Station, overseeing gas and solar PV plants. My expertise lies in integrating renewable energy—particularly solar with storage solutions—into corporate strategies to enhance grid reliability and meet 24/7 energy demands. I’ve spearheaded thermal power projects at NTPC sites like Barh, Meja, and Mauda, delivering feasibility studies, technical specifications, and optimized commissioning processes. I have successfully erected and commissioned mechanical erection projects of NTPC Darlipalli. Key achievements include conceptualizing the merger of control rooms at NTPC Dadri for seamless operations, digital transformation of various departmental activities, and pioneering IoT-based safety systems that achieved zero fatalities during high-risk construction at NTPC Darlipalli. I’ve also driven digital transformation, leading the implementation of paperless office systems, SAP deployments, and solar-powered surveillance innovations that have been replicated across NTPC sites. My academic foundation includes a B.Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from HBTU Kanpur, a PG Diploma in Management (Business Strategy) from MDI Gurgaon, and I’m currently pursuing a PhD in Energy Transition and Sustainable Business Strategy at MDI Gurgaon. International exposure from ESCP Europe (Paris, Berlin, Turin) and certifications in Renewable Energy and Energy Modelling further enrich my global perspective. Skilled in strategic leadership, policy formulation, and stakeholder engagement, I am passionate about advancing the energy transition.
