   Leading a workforce of 280+, including engineers and managers, I head the Oxygen & Compressed Air Plants, along with the entire Water Systems and utility division at JSW. I ensure the smooth operations, maintenance and optimization of 4 Oxygen plants having a total capacity of 6,600 Tons Per Day, 3 compressed air units and five water utilities, ensuring high efficiency and safety. Joining in 2018 as Head of Oxygen and Compressed Air Plants at Dolvi Works (near Mumbai), I oversaw the setting up of the new plant and built a team for running the Linde, BOC, Hang Yang oxygen plants, and Ingersoll Rand, and Atlas Copco compressed air plants. I was later awarded the added responsibility of the utility division (Water systems), entailing an end-to-end water management system, from sourcing to processing to distribution. I am also leading the Phase II unit expansion slated to double the Gases and Utility division, while ensuring safety standards and design parameters are delivered. Collaborating with the top management, I advise on CAPEX, technology and new plants selection, and also engage in hiring, employee engagement and chalking out succession plans. Having a strong background in production planning, TQM and TPM helped me lead successful process reengineering campaigns at JSW, yielding significant cost savings and improved output every month. Besides building capabilities and driving innovation in production processes, it is my passion to install impeccable safety systems across units. As the Chairman of the Divisional Implementation Committee (Utility) and Safety APEX, I ensure the highest safety standards across units. Furthermore, I lead behavioral safety initiatives and work closely with Du Pont in achieving zero incidents across all sites. Working with the sustainability committee, we have enabled the distribution of clean drinking water to nearby villagers and set up a science laboratory in a community higher secondary school.
