In my new role as Noblis Civilian Space Systems Division Director I am responsible for all aspects of the company\'s civilian space business unit, including P&L, project execution, line management, staff development, client relations, and business development. I will be expanding Noblis’ current portfolio into broader space, science, and aeronautics initiatives at NASA and NOAA, leading major campaigns while continuing to evolve our vision and direction for growth in the new space economy.Prior to Noblis I was the Mission Director at Astrobotic Technology Inc. in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, leading the company\'s first lunar lander program, Peregrine Mission 1 (PM1). I led the team in the development of a commercial robotic lunar lander capable of delivering payloads to the surface of the Moon. The effort spanned design, development, integration, testing, launch and surface operations. As Mission Director I also managed the budget, schedule, risk, and mission resources (staffing, assets). PM1 launched in early 2024 and while its primary objective was not achieved, it did operate for 10 days in cislunar space, returning science for numerous customers.Prior to joining Astrobotic I had 25 years experience with Lockheed Martin, my last assignment being the Program Manager for an engineering, science and technical services prime contract for at the NASA Ames Research Center with $40M+ in annual sales. As an experienced Program Manager, I\'ve participated in proposal development for contracts worth up to $1B, and I\'ve implemented contracts staffed by 200+ employees. I also have developed business strategies for my business unit within Lockheed Martin, focusing primarily on growth within the NASA services market in California. In my career with LM, I was given increasing responsibilities in personnel and project management, starting with a supervisor role in 1996 and through my most recent Program Manager role, where I was the Lockheed Martin focal point with the NASA customer for all activities on the contract, including overall technical, financial, subcontractor, and schedule performance. My responsibilities to the corporation include the same, along with business development, program control and strategic planning for government and commercial opportunities.After leaving LM, I formed a consulting company, Pivotal Win, to assist businesses in implementing successful program management processes and expanding growth opportunities through targeted, strategic business development. I maintained this business until joining Astrobotic in July, 2016.
