About Shaoxuan Zheng

I am Shaoxuan Zheng, a current Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence student in ECE department at Carnegie Mellon University. My work and research interests are both software/web development and Machine Learning/Deep Learning. For Machine Learning, I have 8 months of research experience about differential privacy and federated learning in embARC research group, at University of Toronto, which is also my undergraduate school. I also have 2 months of intern experience as a Machine Learning Engineer in Bishi Technology, where I contributed to the application using LangChain and a time-series pre-train model. I have also taken courses about NLP, CV and DL in undergraduate school For Software Development, I took 3 courses in undergraduate school, where I gained the knowledge and experience with Python, JS, HTML, CSS, Android Studio, React, Git and Github. Moreover, I have 1 year of intern experience as a full stack developer in Overbond, a financial startup located at Toronto, where we use Ruby for backend and JS/React for frontend, and AWS, Docker services. For my future direction, I am looking for both software development engineer and machine learning engineer intern in industry for 2024 summer.
