As Public Health Analyst & Ferguson Fellowship Program Coordinator in the Division of Preparedness and Emerging Infections, I am the career pathways liaison for alumni of the Dr. James A. Ferguson Fellowship Program. In this role, I partner with internal and external CDC partners to facilitate the advancement of Ferguson Fellowship alumni in the public health career pipeline. I am a poised social scientist and public health workforce development leader with substantial experience building and sustaining relationships across communities, government agencies, and corporate entities. With over 15 years of experience, I bring expertise in research, program evaluation, community engagement, capacity building, and technical assistance — all grounded in a deep commitment to health equity, peacebuilding, and social justice. Currently pursuing a PhD in International Conflict Management, my research explores how public health professionals — particularly those serving marginalized communities — contribute to peacebuilding in the face of structural violence. I use traditional quantitative and qualitative methods in ways that challenge dominant epistemologies and elevate voices of marginalized communities. In every role, I’m dedicated to creating sustainable solutions that strengthen health systems and make the healthy choice the easy choice — for everybody, everywhere. Known for my servant leadership, I strive to provide platinum-level customer service that fosters long-lasting, trusted partnerships.
